We offer a range of high-quality, innovative products designed to meet diverse water treatment needs. Explore our solutions below:
Chlorine-based water disinfection is a widely used disinfection method in water supply due to its continued protection against recontamination until the water reaches the end user.
Chlorine-based disinfection can be achieved using direct injection of Chlorine gas (Cl2), Bleaching powder (Ca(OCl)2) or Onsite generated Sodium Hypochlorite (NaOCl).
ACE – G Series Chlorinators are state-of-the-art onsite Saltwater Chlorine Generators that are manufactured in Sri Lanka. ACE –G Series Chlorine generators are equipped with Solar panels and Battery backup to provide off-grid operational capability & do not rely on the grid supply to operate.
How it works
A salt chlorinator works by putting a Direct Current (DC) current through an electrolytic cell in a flow of salt water. Salt is made up of sodium and chloride ions which undergo an electrolysis reaction within the Electrode and produces Chlorine gas, which dissolves almost instantly to form free chlorine in the water. This free chlorine is a highly effective disinfection agent.
The ACE-G constantly adds a dose of chlorine to the water over the operating period of the system. The amount of chlorine added depends upon the cell output and the running time.
Poly Aluminum Chloride (PAC) is a widely used Aluminum based coagulant and commonly available as a powder. However, Liquid Poly Aluminum Chloride (PAC) is becoming more popular as it has higher density and higher Aluminum weight fraction compared to the powder form. More importantly Liquid PAC produces less sludge compared to powdered PAC as powdered PAC has an inert base that ends up in the sludge.
Aqua Care Engineering produces liquid PAC in Sri Lanka using scrap Aluminum. We source the highest quality scrap Aluminum to eliminate the possibility of any impurities and we ensure the quality of the produce aluminum with continuous testing.
Septic tanks have been the commonly used sewage treatment method in Sri Lanka due to the unavailability of centralized sewer systems. However, septic tanks require periodic cleaning and proper disposal of old septic tank content (Septage) has been a problem to many local authorities.
Our physico-chemical treatment method can make septage compostable using very small land areas easily. The following process was suggested by Aqua Care Engineering to the WASSIP for a World Bank funded project to develop treatment plants to treat the contents of Septic tanks.
we specialize in providing comprehensive environmental solutions under one roof. Since our founding in 2002, we have been dedicated to delivering innovative, high-quality water and wastewater treatment solutions through continuous research and development.
